To come to Russia foreign citizens usually need to apply for visa. The type of the visa suitable for conference is “Ordinary humanitarian visa” (subtype “Scholarly and technical exchange”). The exact regulations (fees, processing time, documents) differ from country to country on reciprocal basis, please, check with the nearest Russian embassy or consulate.
Scholarly exchange visas are issued by Russian embassies and consulates abroad against the official invitation issued by the University (enough for citizens of the EU residing within EU) plus “yellow card” , issued by the Federal Immigration Agency (for citizens of non EU countries and citizens of EU, applying for visa outside of EU). It’ll take us 15-20 days (including mailing) to provide visa support to EU citizens and 45-50 days for the citizens of non EU countries.
The visa support will be provided to registered participants only, which means that those who need visa support should register and pay the conference fee online before June 1, 2016. The organizers will not provide visa support to the family members of the participants. Instead, the family can get visa support from visa agencies or respective hotels and apply for tourist visas.
Please, be sure that you have a valid passport at the time of registration.
Please, fill in the application form below, scan a coloured copy of your passport’s front pages, and send these documents to eacs2016@gmail.com before June 1, 2016.
